Getting your vehicle back on solid ground
Every recovery is different. Terrain, weather, and how the vehicle went in all change the approach. When you call, we'll ask a few questions, look at what it will take, and tell you before we start.
Often a vehicle can be winched back onto the road and driven away. If it can't be driven safely, we can tow it where you need it.
Winter recoveries
Deep snow, icy ditches and unplowed lots. Much of our work happens in the worst weather of the year.
While you wait
- If it's safe to stay in the vehicle, stay inside with your seatbelt on.
- Turn on your hazard lights.
- In snow, make sure the exhaust pipe isn't blocked before running the engine for heat.
- If you're in a dangerous spot on a busy road, call 911 first.
